Dear All,
Further to my recent communication, our site safety plan has been agreed and has been made with the safety of all members of the school community in mind.
No parent cars will be allowed to come on site at any time. We ask you to please cooperate with Tommy our gate man on this. Bumblebees cars will be allowed access but must proceed at 10 kmph on the driveway.
Students may be walked by parents up the driveway to the new Zebra Crossing and through the walkway next to the playground and on up to the school.
Buses will also drop outside and the students will walk via the same path. However, the Junior School Bus will be allowed up the driveway at a slow pace.
Bikes spaces are available and we are awaiting delivery of additional bike racks. Cyclists must dismount outside the school gates and all bikes must be pushed on the path. No cycling on the school grounds please.
There will be soft barriers along the way to ease flow and further slow traffic.
It will be staff parking only in the school car parks. When these car parks are full, staff will park outside on the road.
We have very good relations with our neighbours. Please help us by not double parking or obstructing their driveways.
I appreciate that this is a disruption to the normal routine, but with your cooperation we can keep all students safe.
