Vedh Kannan and Will Carkner who were accompanied by Ms. Hanratty recently visited Zambia with Self Help Africa for a week on a full travel bursary. This was due to their win of the Science for Development Award with their outstanding project `BloodBox` at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition 2023.
During this visit, they were able to visit Gwembe Primary School, rural communities outside Lusaka, agricultural development projects, and met with the Irish ambassador to Zambia, Bronagh Carr.

Keep up the great work, and we’re excited to see what the future holds.
