Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable summer break. It is wonderful to see our school community come together once again, ready to embark on another year of learning, growth, and achievement.
First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our 6th-year students on their fantastic Leaving Certificate results. Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off, and we are incredibly proud of your achievements. Well done!
To our new students and first-year students, a very warm welcome to you all. Starting a new school year can be both exciting and a little daunting, but rest assured, you are joining a supportive and vibrant community. We wish you all the best as you begin this new chapter of your educational journey.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our parents for their continued cooperation and support. Your involvement and partnership are invaluable to us, and we are grateful for your commitment to your children’s education.
As we start this new school year, I would like to remind everyone about the importance of site safety. With ongoing building work, it is crucial that we all remain vigilant and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
We are eagerly looking forward to the completion of our new multi-purpose hall, which will provide fantastic new opportunities for our students and staff. It will be a wonderful addition to our school facilities.
Our co-curricular programme is up and running, offering a wide range of activities for all students. This programme is a testament to the versatility and dedication of our staff, who work tirelessly to provide enriching experiences beyond the classroom.
If you have any worries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to support you and your children in any way we can.
Finally, I wish you all the very best for the 2024/2025 school year. Let’s make it a year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences.
Warm regards,
Ronan Walsh
