Welcome from Head of School

Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,

Welcome back to what promises to be another exciting and enriching year at Sutton Park School. I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable summer break, and I’m delighted to see our vibrant school community come together once again, ready to embrace new opportunities for learning, growth, and achievement.

We begin this year with a major milestone: the completion of our new Multipurpose Hall. The excitement surrounding this space is truly at fever pitch, and rightly so—it represents a significant step forward for our school. I want to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone for their patience throughout the project, and especially to our generous donors for their kindness and trust in us. The journey to completion had its fair share of twists, turns, bumps, and hollows, all expertly navigated by our Business Director, Emer Crowley. Emer has been the rock and the glue behind this achievement, and we owe her a huge debt of gratitude.

As always, the start of term brings its usual mix of nerves and anticipation. These feelings will soon settle into the rhythm of timetables, routines, and exciting events. Each month of the school year offers fresh chances for development and new challenges for both students and staff.
A special congratulations to our 6th-year students on their outstanding Leaving Certificate results. Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off, and we are immensely proud of your achievements.

To our new and first-year students: a very warm welcome. Starting a new school year can be both thrilling and a little daunting, but you are joining a supportive and dynamic community. We look forward to seeing you thrive in this new chapter of your educational journey.
I would also like to thank our parents for their continued support and partnership. Your involvement is invaluable, and we deeply appreciate your commitment to your children’s education.

Our co-curricular programme will be in full swing shortly, offering a wide range of activities that enrich student life beyond the classroom. This programme reflects the incredible versatility and dedication of our staff, who work tirelessly to provide meaningful experiences for our students.
If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to support you and your children in every way we can.

Wishing you all a successful, joyful, and inspiring 2025/2026 school year.
